01 Scope
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to subscriptions, digital services, professional marketing services, campaign packages, account credits, and other purchases made directly from Nexus.
Purchases made through an app store, advertising network, payment marketplace, or another third party may be governed by that provider’s refund and cancellation rules.
Nothing in this Policy limits non-waivable statutory consumer rights.
02 Subscription Billing
Subscriptions may be offered on a monthly, quarterly, annual, or other recurring basis. Unless clearly stated otherwise:
- Subscription fees are charged at the beginning of each billing period;
- Subscriptions automatically renew;
- Renewal occurs using the payment method on file;
- Prices exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise; and
- Usage-based or add-on charges may be billed separately.
You are responsible for cancelling before the renewal date if you do not want the next billing period. A reminder will be provided before renewal where required by applicable law.
03 Cancelling a Subscription
You may cancel through:
- Account settings: [cancellation path];
- Email: support@nexus-ai.world;
- Support portal: [URL]; or
- The relevant app store if the subscription was purchased through that store.
Cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current paid billing period unless otherwise stated. After cancellation:
- Automatic renewal will stop;
- You may continue using paid features until the end of the current period;
- No further recurring subscription fee will be charged;
- Usage-based, advertising, or other accrued charges remain payable; and
- Access may be downgraded or terminated when the period ends.
Deleting the app or ceasing to use the Platform does not cancel a subscription.
04 Refund Eligibility
4.1 Duplicate or erroneous charges
A full refund will generally be provided for a verified duplicate charge or billing error caused by Nexus. Report billing errors within 30 days after the charge, or within any longer period required by law.
4.2 Unauthorized transactions
Report suspected unauthorized transactions promptly to Nexus and your payment provider. Nexus may require reasonable verification and may suspend the account while investigating. Refund eligibility will depend on the investigation, payment-provider rules, and applicable law.
4.3 Material service failure
Nexus may provide a prorated refund, service credit, re-performance, or another appropriate remedy if:
- Nexus materially fails to deliver a paid service;
- The failure is within Nexus’s reasonable control;
- You notify Nexus within 14 days after discovering the issue; and
- Nexus cannot remedy the issue within a reasonable period.
Temporary maintenance, minor defects, third-party outages, and failure to achieve a desired marketing result do not automatically constitute material service failure.
4.4 Statutory cancellation rights
Where applicable consumer law grants a cooling-off or withdrawal right, Nexus will honor that right. For digital content or services supplied immediately after purchase, the law may permit the withdrawal right to end once:
- You expressly request immediate performance;
- You acknowledge the effect on your withdrawal right; and
- Nexus provides the legally required confirmation.
The exact right depends on your location and whether you purchased as a consumer or business.
05 Generally Non-Refundable Charges
Unless required by law or expressly agreed in writing, refunds are not provided for:
- Partially used subscription periods;
- Failure to cancel before automatic renewal;
- Change of mind after access has been provided;
- Unused features, credits, allowances, or account capacity;
- Promotional, discounted, or trial-to-paid subscriptions;
- Services already performed or resources already committed;
- Approved campaign work;
- Third-party software, stock media, domains, licenses, or platform fees;
- Advertising spend already committed, delivered, or paid;
- Payment processing, foreign exchange, or bank fees;
- Account suspension or termination resulting from a policy violation;
- Dissatisfaction caused by failure to follow instructions or provide approvals;
- Missed campaign deadlines caused by the customer; or
- Failure to achieve anticipated leads, revenue, engagement, rankings, conversions, or return on investment.
Marketing performance depends on factors beyond Nexus’s control, including budget, offer quality, audience behavior, competition, seasonality, platform algorithms, customer response times, and third-party advertising decisions.
06 Professional and Custom Marketing Services
Custom services may include campaign strategy, content creation, design, video production, advertising management, consulting, account setup, and other bespoke work. Unless an order form states otherwise:
- Deposits become non-refundable once work begins or resources are reserved;
- Completed milestones are non-refundable;
- Approved deliverables are non-refundable;
- Work performed up to the cancellation date remains payable;
- Committed third-party expenses remain payable; and
- The customer may be charged a reasonable cancellation fee if stated in the proposal or order form.
If a project is cancelled before completion, Nexus will provide completed, fully paid deliverables where practicable and permitted by third-party licensing terms.
Suggested milestone schedule
| Cancellation point | Amount generally payable |
|---|---|
| Before work begins | Refund less non-recoverable processing or third-party costs |
| After discovery/strategy begins | Deposit plus completed work and committed costs |
| After first drafts or campaign build | Completed milestones plus committed costs |
| After approval or campaign launch | No refund for approved/performed work or incurred spend |
The executed order form takes priority over this default schedule.
07 Advertising Spend and Third-Party Charges
Advertising spend paid or committed to third-party platforms is non-refundable once incurred.
Nexus cannot guarantee reimbursement from a third-party advertising platform. Any refund issued by a third party will be passed to the customer after:
- Nexus receives cleared funds;
- Applicable platform deductions are confirmed; and
- Outstanding customer balances are settled.
Credits issued by an advertising platform may remain subject to that platform’s expiration and usage rules.
08 Trials and Promotional Offers
Unless cancelled before the stated deadline, a free or discounted trial may automatically convert into a paid subscription if this was clearly disclosed during enrollment.
Eligibility for trials and promotions may be limited by user, business, device, payment method, or household. Nexus may revoke promotional access where abuse, duplication, or fraud is reasonably suspected.
Promotional credits:
- Have no cash value;
- Are non-transferable;
- May expire;
- Cannot ordinarily be refunded; and
- May be restricted to specified services.
09 Annual Plans
Annual subscriptions are normally charged in advance and are non-refundable after the applicable statutory cancellation period or any expressly advertised money-back period.
Cancellation prevents renewal for the next annual term but ordinarily does not produce a prorated refund for unused months.
If Nexus terminates an annual plan for convenience rather than for breach, Nexus will generally provide a prorated refund for the unused prepaid period.
10 Plan Changes
Upgrades
An upgrade may take effect immediately. Nexus may charge the prorated difference for the remainder of the billing period.
Downgrades
A downgrade generally takes effect at the beginning of the next billing period. Usage limits, storage, features, and access may be reduced. Downgrades do not ordinarily generate refunds or cash credits for the current period.
11 Account Credits
Unless law requires otherwise, service credits:
- Are not legal tender;
- Cannot be withdrawn as cash;
- Are non-transferable;
- May be applied only to eligible Nexus services;
- Expire on the date stated when issued; and
- Are forfeited upon termination for fraud or serious policy violations.
Paid credits will be handled according to the purchase terms and applicable law.
12 How to Request a Refund
Submit a request to support@nexus-ai.world with:
- Account holder’s name;
- Registered email address;
- Invoice or transaction number;
- Transaction date and amount;
- Reason for the request; and
- Supporting evidence, where relevant.
Nexus will acknowledge the request within 3–5 business days and normally issue a decision within 10 business days, subject to verification and payment-provider processing.
Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method. Processing may take 5–15 business days after approval, depending on the bank, card network, payment processor, or app store.
13 Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Before initiating a chargeback, contact Nexus so that we can investigate and attempt to resolve the issue.
Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in:
- Account suspension;
- Cancellation of active campaigns;
- Recovery of unpaid amounts and permitted costs; and
- Submission of relevant transaction evidence to the payment provider.
This provision does not prevent users from exercising lawful payment-dispute rights.
14 Termination by Nexus
If Nexus permanently discontinues a paid service for reasons unrelated to your breach, Nexus will generally provide:
- A prorated refund for the unused prepaid period;
- A service credit; or
- A reasonably equivalent replacement service.
No refund is ordinarily due where access is terminated because of material breach; unlawful activity; fraud or payment abuse; security threats; repeated acceptable-use violations; or failure to pay fees. Any remedy remains subject to mandatory law.
